By Kizito CUDJOEThe ASA Savings and Loans, in partnership with the environmental advocacy group, Buzstop Boys, has launched an initiative aimed at instilling environmental consciousness in young students. As part of the exercise, ASA Savings and Loans provided a waste receptacle to Alajo Basic School to encourage proper waste collection and disposal. Adding his voice, Pope NeeQuaye, Accra Newtown Area Manager of ASA Savings and Loans, highlighted the organisation’s commitment to social responsibility and the environment. Similarly, Mr. Peter Ecklu, Headmaster of Kotobabi 3 Basic School, commended ASA Savings and Loans for extending their social support to educational institutions. ASA Savings and Loans said its collaboration with Buzstop Boys forms part of a broader agenda to create a culture of environmental consciousness among young people.
