A 53-year-old New Jersey man died by suicide in the Camden County jail a day after he was convicted of killing his wife, authorities said. He killed his 38-year-old wife Stefanie Caraway in their apartment following an argument on Aug. 3, 2021. Lichtfuss later said he “snapped” during the early-morning argument, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed in support of the murder charge. Lichtfuss also texted a second person and wrote, “There are 3 cats that’ll need you and she had a fish and a lizard.
