The process started when the acquisition was confirmed in 2023, with Orange announcing plans to acquire VOO in late 2021. With the new structure, all of the operator’s assets and liabilities are transferred to Orange NetCo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Orange Belgium. Other operations, including customer service and commercial activities, are now part of Orange Belgium. The move also brings the operator’s staff and assets under Orange Belgium and will have no impact on employment. Orange Belgium CEO Xavier Pichon hailed the integration as a “significant milestone” in the operator’s future growth strategy, highlighting its “focus on network leadership and customer experience excellence” moving forward.
