Police in Yeji, Bono East Region, have arrested a man identified as Hans Osei, popularly known as Mulla, for allegedly practising as a medical doctor without formal training for more than a decade. According to Adom News’ Daniel Tachie, the suspect was picked up on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Yeji Zongo, where he had been running his operations. Residents told Adom News he was once known locally as a footballer who played for Yeji Elfs during their time in the Premier League. Police say investigations are ongoing, and the suspect will face charges for impersonation and unlawful medical practice.
