The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has honoured the former Chief Executive of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), Ing. Benjamin Arthur, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Ghana’s higher education sector and labour relations. Arthur was presented with a special citation for his leadership in securing codified conditions of service for academic staff and advancing staff welfare. The citation commended him for laying a solid foundation for labour harmony in Ghana’s higher education landscape. Arthur brought over two decades of professional experience to the FWSC, blending technical expertise with a deep understanding of negotiation and mediation.
