Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has assured Ghanaians that the next NPP government will fully complete the Agenda 111 hospital projects, describing it as one of the most transformative healthcare initiatives in Ghana’s history. Although many of the facilities had reached advanced stages of completion by the end of 2024, Dr Bawumia accused the NDC government of abandoning the project. Speaking to constituency executives and former NPP officials in the Greater Accra Region at the start of a three-day engagement, Dr Bawumia expressed concern about the stalled works. "I promise you: If they don't complete them, the next NPP government will fully complete the implementation of this very important investment into our lives and save many lives, even those unborn. Dr Bawumia emphasised that finishing the Agenda 111 programme will remain a top priority should the NPP return to power.
