In January developer Blackburne lodged plans for a temporary viewing tower at the Ocean Village Neighbourhood Centre on Brompton Road. An appeal against a Town of Cambridge decision to refuse the viewing tower is scheduled to be heard in November. The SAT ruling said Mr Ralph lived more than 4km from the Ocean Village site and it did not believe Mr Ralph had sufficient interest in the viewing tower proposal. “He will not be impacted by any decision on the viewing tower proposal to any greater degree than any other member of the public.
