Nearly $1 million will be spent upgrading a primary school hall that dates back to the 1950s. Works were scheduled to start this month on Bicton Primary School’s hall, which was built in 1956. The refurbishment will include improvements to the building’s entry, new exterior cladding, a fresh ceiling and kitchen, along with new flooring and windows. Hoffman Architecture has designed the upgrade to the building’s entry. “School halls play an important role for local communities and I look forward to seeing the upgrades once completed,” she said.
