(FDNY via AP)A portion of a 20-storey residential building partially collapsed Wednesday morning in New York prompting an emergency response from local authorities.
The incident occurred at around 8:13 am local time, when the chimney side of the structure gave way, a NYC official told CBS News.
No apartments were reported as impacted by the collapse, but the affected section of the building was immediately evacuated as a precaution.
