The Opposition brought up a letter by Fadnavis in 2020 to the then chief minister Uddhav Thackeray demanding the declaration of wet drought.
“In his letter to former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on October 16, 2020, then Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis had demanded the declaration of wet drought.
How can the concept of wet drought come alive when you were LoP and become not maintainable when you are the Chief Minister?” asked Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar.
