The body of Laken Snelling’s infant son “appeared to be full term when discovered,” according to Lexington, Kentucky police records obtained by Lex18. The former University of Kentucky cheerleader also told staff at the university’s hospital that the baby made a “whimper” and she “guessed” he was alive when he was born. They also believe she may have deleted information about “the birth of a full term baby,” according to records obtained by Lex18. Snelling was arrested in August when she was charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and concealing the birth of an infant. She has pleaded not guilty.
