Netflix has acquired the rights to another hit historical romance drama, Poldark, starring Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson. It primarily aired on the BBC in the United Kingdom but was broadcast in the US by PBS. The series follows the life of the eponymous protagonist, Ross Poldark, as he returns home from fighting in the American Revolutionary War.
