The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) recovered a 2024 Toyota Highlander earlier this week after it had been reported stolen from a parking lot near Gordon Street and Clair Road West. The vehicle was found with significant interior damage. This recovery was part of a broader investigation led by Guelph Police, who responded to three other separate vehicle thefts in Guelph on Monday involving a Ford F150, a Hyundai Accent, and a Volvo truck. Police are reminding residents to take precautions against auto theft, including parking in well-lit areas, locking doors and windows, using steering wheel or ignition locks, and storing electronic keys in signal-blocking pouches.
