A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating an alleged dog attack which occurred at around 12:50hrs on Wednesday, 24 September in Rectory Fields, Ealing. It is believed the owner of the dog left the scene before police arrived. While the dog and its owner quickly made off from the scene, members of the public rushed to help Rowen and Bunnie.
