The incident reportedly occurred on 23 June 2025, stemming from disagreements over Amosi’s husband taking a second wife. During proceedings, Amosi’s husband, Faya Evance, aged 18, testified that he did not witness anyone directly attacking his wife. Magistrate Aaron Ng’ambi noted that, based on the evidence presented by the prosecution, it appears that Amosi was assaulted by the four women. Although the accused denied the allegations and challenged some of the evidence, the court continued hearing the case.
