Published on October 1, 2025 at 5:00 PM by Edgar NaithaPolice in the South West Region have arrested 23-year-old Madalitso Msuku in Blantyre for the theft of a Toyota Hiace minibus belonging to Mavuto Foster. The green minibus was stolen on the night of September 16, 2025, after it had been parked overnight. Msuku reportedly confessed to selling the parts for K3.2 million. At the time of his arrest, police recovered K600,000 in cash from him. He hails from Nsanama Village, Traditional Authority Kawinga in Machinga, and is expected to appear in court soon to face charges related to motor vehicle theft and illegal disposal of stolen property.
