A 20-year-old University of Washington (UW) student accused of shooting a Washington State University (WSU) football player is in custody, Pullman police confirmed to KIRO Newsradio. An arrest warrant was issued for the UW student, on suspicion of first- and fourth-degree assault, according to court documents filed in Whitman County Superior Court. UW student allegedly got into series of argumentsAccording to court documents, several witnesses at the party described a series of escalating arguments involving the UW student. The UW student was later identified through Instagram, where witnesses recognized his profile. His photo matched the image on his Washington driver’s license, and his account listed him as a UW student from West Seattle.
