Rochester- On 10/1/25 at approximately 5:50 a.m. the Rochester Police Department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Jefferson Ave. for the report of a possible home invasion robbery. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who advised that he heard suspicious noises outside of his residence and stepped outside to investigate. While outside the victim was accosted by a suspect who was armed with a firearm, and ordered the victim into his residence. Once inside of the residence, the victim was able to take the suspect’s firearm from him after which the suspect fled the location.
