Klein has released her new ambient mixtape ‘sleep with a cane’. This year has already brought ‘thirteen sense’, while 2024’s ‘marked’ and 2023 release ‘touched by an angel’ won huge acclaim. Out now, ‘sleep with a cane’ is released through Roc Nation Distribution and features Klein at her most abstract. Fractured takes on UK production tropes, Klein re-arranges this in her own potent vision, resulting in something multi-faceted but unified. Alongside the release, Klein has shared an 11-minute self-directed experimental music video for ‘Informa’ – the short film centres on double dutching (a recurring reference in her live shows), and the pathways of being young, Black, and free while under surveillance.
