Share this: TweetWhatsAppThe sixth Proximity Commanders’ meeting between the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) and the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) was officially opened in Kabale City, Uganda; to discuss and address cross border security challenges. The meeting was also attended by the Defence Attachés of both Rwanda and Uganda. In his opening remarks, Maj Gen Paul Muhanguzi, Commander of the UPDF 2 Division, welcomed the RDF delegation and emphasised the importance of partnership between RDF and UPDF in promoting peace and stability. “RDF and UPDF have both played historic and transformative roles in our respective countries. We continue to serve as the bedrock of peace, stability, and national development.
