Karen Aghzzaf, 70, met husband Brahim, 46, on the social network in July 2015 while living in the UK - and he lived in Khemisset, Morocco. Karen is desperate for her husband to live with her and take care of her - but they are currently stuck 2,107 miles apart. In July 2015, after buying a new phone, Karen logged onto Facebook to find a friend request from Brahim. ‌“I was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in July 2019, shortly after I last saw Brahim in-person,” Karen said.
