It comes with subtle nods to Sparks, along with buoyant keys from Aurora Nishevci and a hypnotic bassline from Georgia Davies. “I wish I could go back and say to myself that I am worth more than that, and that no one needs to accept being second best,” Roberts said, looking at the inspiration for the song. “We’re approaching the second album the same way we approached the first album, which is by doing what we want to do without any pressures or expectations.
