A woman reported missing in Vallejo was found dead in an attic Wednesday, and a man has been arrested on suspicion of killing her, police said. Vallejo police said they had been trying to find Lewis, and their investigation led them to an address on 14th Street, where they believed she may have been before she went missing. Inside the attic they found the remains of a woman they believed to be Lewis. Police have arrested Douglas Shaw, 41, on suspicion of Lewis' death and allege that he confessed to the crime.
