A fish fry and barbecue benefit dinner to support Missouri State Trooper Josh Doyle, who is fighting liver cancer, will be held at the Malden Community Center, 607 North Douglass Street, on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 each and are available for purchase now. The event will feature raffle drawings for five firearms, a premium bottle of bourbon, and other donated items. Raffle tickets are $10 each and can be purchased ahead of the dinner. The benefit dinner is organized by community members and supporters of Trooper Doyle and his family, aiming to help with medical and personal expenses during his treatment.
