In April 2024, Wallen was arrested after throwing a chair off the sixth-story roof of Eric Church’s new bar and honky-tonk, Chief’s, in downtown Nashville.
The chair landed on the street right next to a group of cops, and when the police started questioning bar staff, they immediately pointed the finger at Wallen.
Elsewhere, Wallen tells the police, “We’re not trying to cause no problems, man.
I don’t know what they’re … I don’t know why.” When one officer tells Wallen they’re just trying to figure out what happens, the musician responds, “As you should.”The footage also shows Wallen being cuffed and placed in a police cruiser.
Wallen was given a two-year suspended sentence, except for “seven days incarceration in a DUI education center,” followed by two years of probation.
