Jay Davey was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall when he was stopped by police on July 24, 2024. The 24-year-old was driving on Elm Terrace in Southampton without insurance. Police officers also discovered he was driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence. For the latter offence he was ordered to pay a fine of £220. The court also imposed a fine of £660 for the offence of driving without insurance.
