The controls of the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Melito Porto Salvo continues without stopping to contrast the phenomenon of theft of electricity. This time the soldiers of the Condofuri San Carlo station referred to two subjects in a state of freedom on charges of aggravated theft of electricity. The activity arose from a control to a site attributable to the two men where the military, assisted by specialized personnel, had the opportunity to ascertain the existence of an abusive connection to the public network created by means of a bypass, in order to evade the regular functioning of the meter, and after altering the power cable, found decorticated. The damage estimated at the detriment of the dispenser is around 9 thousand euros.
