The students took part in a mix of community development work, cultural exchange, and wildlife experiences. The trip involved 14 Year 10 and 11 students from the Newton-le-Willows school, who travelled to multiple locations in Tanzania to take part in hands-on projects and cultural learning. Students also played in local football matches and completed a waterfall trek in the scenic foothills of Kilimanjaro. The expedition continued through the rural savannah, where students spotted elephants, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and lions on safari.
