Argos' initiative comes on the back of Google Trends data revealing a surge in searches for 'midnight launch' on March 30, coinciding with the Nintendo Switch 2 release. "For Argos, with our customer first ethos this midnight launch of EA FC26 is a fantastic way for us to bring the excitement of launch day directly to super fans of the game and ensure they're among the first to play.”The event at Glasgow Fort will commence at midnight on Thursday. Customers will not need to have pre-ordered the game to participate, as all purchases at the midnight launch will be on a walk-in basis. A similar midnight event will be held at the Argos Wishaw store at Unit 10, Caledonian Retail Park, New Ashtree St.
