The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service both were called to the two car crash on the M74 at the Raith Interchange at around 8.40am. The ambulance service confirmed that they sent several resources to the scene and transported two men to Wishaw General Hospital and another man to Monkland's Hospital. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said, "We were alerted at 8.39am on Tuesday, 23 September, to reports of a road traffic collision on the M74 between Junction 5 (Raith Interchange), and Junction 6 (Hamilton). "Three casualties were taken to hospital by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
