Residents across the region have been enjoying a stretch of beautiful, warm weather, and according to forecasters, those pleasant conditions are expected to stick around through the weekend. The run of dry, warm days isn’t expected to break immediately. However, forecasters are monitoring changes on the horizon as the high pressure system begins to move east early next week. A weather system tracking north from the Gulf of Mexico could bring a slight chance of showers to the region Monday into Monday night. Any potential rainfall early next week is not expected to bring significant relief from the warm, dry pattern.
