With the closing of the Malco theater at the old mall, time marches on. Supposedly, one stick to hold up your chair and the other to beat off the rats. At a later date, Rebel began showing “R” skin flicks, and the high school boys would ride back and forth all night. And now, we say goodbye to those days as the theater showed its last show last weekend. But the town is still showing the movies at the Oxford Commons on Sisk Avenue.
