Rangnick, who currently serves as the Austria national team boss, has undergone multiple surgeries on his ankle in recent months. The former United boss has been recovering since those procedures, using an E-bike to get across the pitch during Austria’s World Cup qualifying win over Bosnia and Herzegovina last month. Rangnick was drafted in as interim United boss following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November 2021.
