An ambulance on Cap Sant Pere beach where the British tourist died (Picture: SOLARPIX.COM)A British tourist has drowned at a popular Spanish seaside resort. The man, 58, was spotted floating in the sea by his wife at around 2.45pm at Cap Sant Pere beach in Cambrils on Spain’s east coast. The spot is just a 15-minute drive from Llarga Beach in Salou where a brother and sister were swept away to their deaths in July. But the brother and sister were swept away in front of their family as they were dragged 100m away from each other in powerful rip-tides. Their father, Ricardo Senior, had to be rescued himself in high winds as he desperately tried to save his children at the popular tourist beach.
