"Praise be to God, Mr. Mahfud has expressed readiness to join the committee," Hadi told the press at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.He noted that the upcoming national committee would comprise around nine members, including former chiefs of the National Police (Polri).However, Hadi refrained from disclosing further details, suggesting that President Prabowo Subianto might announce the members once he returns from his overseas visits. "We may provide more information on the Police Reform Committee after Mr. President's return," he remarked.The minister, who also serves as the president's spokesperson, highlighted the Polri Reform Team established by Polri Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, stressing that it shares the same goals as the government’s committee. "The police decided to set up an internal reform team, but we all essentially share the same spirit," he affirmed.Earlier, Hadi confirmed that President Prabowo was considering Mahfud’s involvement in the Police Reform Committee.
