"No one should raise rates above the published price, especially when occupancy has not yet reached 30 percent," he emphasized.According to Firdaus, room rates have begun to increase ahead of the MotoGP event, although occupancy is still low.
According to data, hotel occupancy rates were around 20-30 percent as of mid-September.Firdaus stated that hotel occupancy rates have so far averaged below 30 percent for the MotoGP season, indicating no sign of improvement.
"We hope hotel occupancy will increase significantly next week," he pointed out.He addressed that this low occupancy rate is caused by a lack of spectators, with current conditions considered quieter than in previous years.
