Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis has received threatening messages on social media, prompting him to file a complaint. The action led to the arrest of a man who used the name ‘Christos Sidiroglou’ on Facebook. According to Georgiadis, the posts used an image of the brutal assault of a Finance Minister in Nepal. ‘Accounts from both the Far Left and the Far Right went wild,’ he commented in a post on Facebook. He emphasized that freedom of speech is non-negotiable but comes with responsibility, and he warned that anyone threatening his or his family’s life will face legal consequences.
