Greek Minister of Citizen Protection Mihalis Chrisochoidis has filed a complaint against a 42-year-old pimp who was arrested on Wednesday morning. The man, known as ‘o kontos’ (the short one), allegedly trafficked women and intimidated his victims by claiming he was friends with the minister. The complaint from the minister was filed three months ago after a woman escaped the pimp and reported him to the police, revealing the threats. Police informed Chrisochoidis, who then filed the complaint. It is also alleged that the pimp used the names of other politicians and public figures to threaten the women he exploited.
