The will of Giorgio Armani has officially been opened in Milan, marking a new chapter for the future of one of the world’s most iconic fashion empires. The Italian designer, who passed away on September 4, left a significant portion of his inheritance to his partner and close collaborator, Leo Del’Orco, who now holds 40% of the voting rights in the Armani house. Armani’s two nieces, Silvana and Andrea, will jointly control 30% of the shares, while the remaining third will be managed by the Armani Foundation, created by the designer himself to ensure continuity. The designer’s sister, Rosanna, and her two children inherited his real estate companies, including luxury apartments and palaces in Milan, villas in Saint-Tropez, and on the Italian island of Pantelleria. Del’Orco has been granted the usufruct of these properties, including Armani’s famous Milan palace.
