A workplace accident occurred at the Sindos Industrial Area in Thessaloniki when a man fell from a significant height. The 49-year-old was seriously injured after falling from 8 meters in the industrial zone and was transferred just before 5 PM on Friday (12.09.2025) to the Papageorgiou Hospital in Thessaloniki. The man, born in 1976 and of foreign nationality, reportedly fell while possibly carrying out work-related tasks. Emergency services responded swiftly, with the injured man being transported by an ambulance from the EKAB emergency medical service with assistance from local police. Officers arrived at the scene at 4:40 PM and escorted the ambulance to ensure a fast and safe transfer of the patient to the hospital.
