Given its vast budget, it's no surprise that HBO's much-anticipated adaptation of the Harry Potter book series will be heading to unlikely places. Following a nationwide casting search, Dominic McLaughlin landed the role of the titular hero Harry Potter. Harry Potter hit our screens in November 2001 after author J.K Rowling released seven books. The names include: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. She said: 'I read the first two episodes of the forthcoming HBO Harry Potter series and they are SO, SO, SO GOOD!'.
