The Rawalpindi district administration has introduced an amnesty scheme for Qingqi rickshaws to regularise them. The initiative offers a six-month amnesty period for the registration of these rickshaws, with workshops providing regular vehicle inspections and fitness checks seven days a week. After completion of the registration process, the city will undergo zoning, and route permits will be issued based on approved zoning.
