The Pakistan Army soldiers who embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s district Lakki Marwat on January 10 were laid to rest on Saturday. A large number of senior military officers, soldiers, families of martyrs and locals attended the funeral of the martyred personnel, the ISPR further added. “Pakistan forces are determined to eliminate the scrouge of terrorism from the motherland at any cost,” the military’s media wing stated. Both of these individuals had been actively involved in various terrorist activities against security forces and had been implicated in the target killings of innocent civilians. “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” it had maintained.
