The assassination of Charlie Kirk appears to have sparked a renewed interest in Christianity among young people - a demographic that has been turning more secular for decades.
The weekend after the Turning Point USA founder was shot the pastor for a church in Pittsburgh said new congregants arrived in busloads for the Sunday service.
Though Kirk grew up Presbyterian, it has been Catholicism specifically that has seen a boost on college campuses.
'I didn't know Charlie Kirk.
Benny Johnson, a Turning Point USA contributor, called Kirk 'a martyr in the true Christian tradition'.
