Now, the Independent Pharmacies Association (IPA) industry body has told the Daily Mail that pregnant women have been asking their local chemists for advice. IPA chief executive Dr Leyla Hannbeck said: 'We have had some pregnant women contacting their local pharmacists asking about the impact of paracetamol following President Trump's claim. 'It is the first-line choice for pain management and fever control in a variety of patients, including pregnant women, children and the elderly.
