Another year draws to a close – in the Adamu household 2018 has been nothing short of momentous. For this post I will just list out and rant about some of the stuff I have noticed:1. As a gaijin living in Japan, it often felt like I floated in a bubble somewhat detached from the usual adult responsibilities. This would be unthinkable in Japan where just about anything official needs to be accompanied by a hand-delivered, handwritten form. ****Four months in, I can’t really say I miss Japan or that I like living one place or the other better.
