Eyewitnesses said the victims were crushed by a speeding SUV after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle. The protesters alleged that the SUV driver was involved in internet fraud, popularly called “Yahoo Yahoo.”One of the protesters, Abdullahi Usman, disclosed that the deceased Okada rider was the secretary of their union. Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Edo State Police Command, Moses Yamu, said investigations had commenced.
