The Hauser Jets took flight late but couldn’t quite keep up with the high-voltage attack of the North Decatur Chargers on Tuesday night. In Mid-Hoosier Conference action, the Jets fought tooth-and-nail in the third set but dropped a 25-9, 25-9, 25-21 contest in Hope. Peyton Norris also contributed a pair of kills, while Hayden Dickey dished out four assists and added eight digs. The Jets (7-21, 2-3) were most competitive in the third set, where they pushed the Chargers into long rallies and found more rhythm offensively. While the final tally didn’t favor Hauser, the Jets showed grit against a tough North Decatur squad and gained valuable conference experience heading into the final stretch of the season.
