The Columbus Christian Crusaders dug deep but came up just short Tuesday night in a tough four-set volleyball matchup against the Crothersville Tigers. The Crusaders fought their way to a third-set win to extend the match, but Crothersville’s attack proved too strong in a 25-10, 25-18, 23-25, 25-12 final. Macimae Brown worked hard on defense, picking up nine digs of her own. Though the Crusaders (6-13) couldn’t complete the comeback, they showed resilience in taking the third set, proving they can rally when the pressure is on. With several regular-season matches still ahead, Columbus Christian will look to polish up their serve-receive and build momentum heading into postseason play.
