The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory has determined that the deaths of two Fordyce residents earlier this month were the result of a murder-suicide.
On September 15, 2025, the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division launched an investigation at the request of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office after a couple was discovered dead inside their home.
Deputies with the sheriff’s office and officers with the Fordyce Police Department responded around 11 a.m. to a residence in the 1700 block of West 4th Street, where they found 81-year-old David Parham and 70-year-old Holly Parham unresponsive.
Autopsies conducted by the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory confirmed that Holly Parham died as the result of homicide, while David Parham’s death was ruled a suicide.
The investigation into the case has since been closed.
